Product Description

The Audi A5 8T illuminated door handle and ambient lighting retrofit kit is designed to enhance the appearance of the vehicle’s interior by adding lighting to the door handles and door-panel areas.

The illuminated handles can provide a subtle lighting effect around the door-entry and handle area, while the ambient lamps add additional illumination to the door panels.

This type of retrofit can be particularly useful when upgrading an A5 8T interior to a more premium or customized specification.

The exact installation method depends on the vehicle’s existing door wiring, electrical equipment, interior lighting configuration, and the components supplied with the kit.

Retrofit & Installation

Installation should be performed by someone familiar with Audi electrical systems and interior trim removal.

Depending on the vehicle configuration, installation may involve:

1. Removing the door panels.
2. Installing the illuminated door handles.
3. Positioning the ambient light lamps.
4. Routing and connecting the supplied wiring.
5. Connecting the lighting circuit to the appropriate vehicle wiring.
6. Reinstalling the door panels.
7. Testing all illuminated handles and ambient lights.

Depending on the wiring configuration, coding or adaptation may be required for the lighting system to operate correctly.

Avoid cutting factory wiring unnecessarily. Verify polarity, connectors, power supply, and grounding before connecting the retrofit components.

Please review the product photographs carefully to confirm the actual condition and exactly what is included.

If the kit is pre-owned, normal signs of previous use may include light scratches, marks, or minor cosmetic wear. Check the handles, lamps, connectors, and wiring carefully before installation.
